Science Experiment How To Make Invisible Ink

Invisible ink has been used by spies and secret lovers alike for centuries to transmit hidden messages to their partners. Invisible ink isn’t just something you see in James Bond movies; hundreds of liquids, from fruit juices to household liquids, to specially formulated chemicals, can be used as invisible ink. In this science experiment, become a master of “steganography” by making your own invisible ink from baking soda and send secret messages to your friends:

WHAT YOU NEED:

“Purple grape juice
“Baking soda
“Tap water
“Cotton swab
“White writing paper

HOW TO PROCEED:

1.Thoroughly mix equal parts tap water and baking soda powder in a container until dissolved.
2.Use a cotton swab or fine paintbrush to write a message onto the white writing paper, using the baking soda and water solution as invisible ‘ink’. Make sure to dip the swab into the “ink” often so that the recipient can read the message with ease.
3.Allow the “ink” to dry out thoroughly until the writing becomes completely invisible. Your secret message is now ready to be delivered to the intended recipient.
4.One way for the recipient to read the message is to hold the paper up to a heat source, such as a light bulb, hot iron or it can even be placed in an oven. The baking soda will cause the writing in the paper to turn brown to enable the recipient to read the message!
5.A second method to read the message is to paint over the paper with purple grape juice. The message will appear in a different colour!

This science experiment works because substances such as vinegar or baking soda are either mildly acidic or alkaline, and such an acid or base weakens paper. The base from the baking soda remains in the paper after the water has evaporated and the paper has dried. When the paper is then held near a heat source such as a light bulb or hot iron, the alkaline parts of the paper burn or turn brown before the rest of the paper does, revealing the message written on the paper!

If you are using the grape juice method to reveal the message, the baking soda and grape juice react with each other in an acid-base reaction, producing a colour change in the paper to enable the recipient to read the secret message. Grape juice concentrate results in a more visible colour change than regular grape juice. There are many other household liquids that can be used to make invisible ink. Using the heat method, you can also use white wine, vinegar, apple juice, and even milk!

Sync Programming Language

SYNC PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE

SYNC is the world’s very first Ringtones & Ringbacks programming language that was used to instruct the microprocessor in the cell phone to play particular notes from an infinite number of ringtones at what speed and in what order for an incoming call (ringtone) or the sound the actual caller can hear (ringback). With capabilities of variable and EQ adjustments, SYNC allowed cell phones users to create and their own ringtones and ringbacks, whether monophonic, polyphonic, DJ style or a minimalist repetitive loops, for over-the-air delivery. The SYNC created audio files, usually between ten and thirty seconds in length, is a ringtone or ringback computer program stored on the memory chip of the cell phone whose primary function is to instruct the microprocessor what the cell phone speaker should do. SYNC was invented by prolific inventor Andre Gray, who used his creation to also invent ringtones and ringbacks and gave them their precise names and uploaded them to his single-webpage on February 5, 1994. For the world’s first ringtone and ringback, Gray chose the ten second opening of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Tocatta and fugue in D Minor with a link to his newsgroup page that provided extensive instructions on how to download & use SYNC to create ringtones & ringbacks. These instructions were the acknowledged primary inspiration for the 1998 Japanese published bestselling book (sold 3.5 million copies in its first year of release) on how to create your own ringtones. SYNC is a meta language, which simply means that all or almost all other programming languages for a specific medium or industry is based upon and defined by that foundational & broadly encompassing programming language. Since its invention and first published appearance on the world wide web as the world’s first commercial ringtones and ringbacks programming language, SYNC has inspired every single cell phone ringtones programming language either as an exact copycat or as an obvious derivative.

ValleySpeak Project Server As A Microsoft Project viewer

Introduction
Sharing Microsoft Project schedules with team members is a huge challenge for Project Managers. Since Microsoft Project licenses are costly and most team members use only a small subset of the functionality of Microsoft Project, using an Microsoft Project MPP file viewer is a possible cost saving measure.
ValleySpeak Project Server can be used as a Microsoft Project viewer and more. Not only can the team members see Microsoft Project schedules, but also they can submit updates for their tasks on the schedules. This allows the Project Manager to get real-time feedback about task status from their teams while still allowing the Project Managers 100% control to approve or disapprove the changes submitted by the team.
Most Microsoft Project viewers only allow the team members to read the project schedule, but not to give real time updates back to the Project Manager. In most cases where such read-only viewers are used, the Project Managers and Team Members have to rely on unstructured emails to communicate status to the Project Manager.
Microsoft Project Viewers Versus ValleySpeak Project Server

Descriptive Programming In Qtp – Part 1

Hello Friends,
In this series of post, we’ll learn about Descriptive programming (DP).

There are two ways, QTP uses to recognize the objects present in your application.

1. Object Repository (OR)
2. Descriptive Programming (DP)

First let see how OR works. OR is the simple and default way of object identification in QTP. OR stores groups of properties and values of every object. While you record on application, all the objects you click, are stored in Object Repository.

During the play back QTP use this OR to identify the object on which the action is to be performed.

What is Descriptive programming (DP)?

We’ll use DP when we want to bypass OR. Descriptive programming is used when we want to perform an operation on an object that is not stored in the object repository. This way QTP wont search for the object properties in the OR, but will take it from the DP statement.

Why use Descriptive programming (DP)?

Everything looks fine while automating test using OR then why should I use DP?

Well, there might be many valid reason to do so. Think about a situation – you want to close all opened browser automatically before you start executing your script. Here OR will not help you to identify an object as it is not possible to store all the opened browser objects into OR. Make sense?

No worries! We’ll discuss the need and benefits of DP in detail later in this post. Well examine scenarios where ORs advantages are outweighed by the DP.

I am not very good in vbscript. Is it mandetory to learn vbscript explicitly to write DP?

No. Not at all! Its not mandetory, but yeah.. recommended. For basic opretions and starting with DP, this post will guide you.
Although, for advanced oprations i.e. using COM, AOM, complex framworks etc. vbscript knowledge is the key.

Okie guys! Now, lets start writing DP!

Writing Descriptive Programming (DP):

DP can be written in two ways..

1. Static (by provide the set of properties and values directly)
2. Dynamic (by creating description object)

Static:

– In Static method of DP, we provide the set of properties and values directly in a single line, in form of the string arguments.

Here is the format/syntax of DP..
object’s Class Name(“property name:=property value)
Exmp 1: webbutton(Name:=Google Search)

object’s Class Name = webbutton
property name = Name
property value = Google Search

Exmp 2:- Browser(google).page(google).webbutton(name:=Google Search,type:= Submit).click

In above statement, Browser(google) and page(google) are written using OR. And webbutton(name:=Google Search,type:= Submit) is written using DP. Please note that we can write multiple set of properties and values in any DP statement.

Examples:
webbutton(name:=Google Search).click

How Your Web Hosting Packate Can Affect The Traffic To Your Website

The availability of superior web hosting in today’s marketing environment can make a difference in obtaining guaranteed web site traffic or receiving little to no traffic at all. These dire predictions may seem implausible to the casual observer, but many online professionals recognize the importance of using a web hosting service that is reliable and trustworthy. Locating a web hosting company is certainly easy and is usually accomplished by searching on the internet, scanning industry related magazines, and referrals from satisfied customers. Finding the most appropriate hosting service that is suitable for a web site owner is challenging, but the search need not be in vain. In fact, there are several benchmarks that an online business owner can examine when attempting to choose the hosting service.

First and foremost, online marketers should seriously consider a web hosting company that enjoys a solid reputation within the industry. Searching in technical forums and conversing with fellow marketers can provide you with an ample supply of hosting companies that match your strict criteria. At this juncture, locating the hosting service that can provide a reasonable measure of reliability and the strong possibility of increased web site traffic should be effortless.

Some recommendations may lead you to hosting companies that offer a service that is very inexpensive. Several years ago, Nancy Mattox purchased such a plan for one year of hosting for her educational supplies site and had a less than stellar experience. “The offer was too good to pass up. Low price for web hosting seemed like the right thing to do. After a short period of time, glitches became the norm and there was considerable down time. I began to lose customers at an alarming rate. I switched hosts and my service improved substantially and spending the extra money was worth it. I had to aggressively buy targeted traffic to replace the customers that I lost with the lower priced service. It was a difficult lesson to learn”. It should be noted that many hosting companies with solid credentials have inexpensive plans that are suitable for a particular need, but Nancy Mattox’s experience is truly a lesson in “buyer beware”.

A good web hosting company can boost the prospects of guaranteed web site traffic, but the online business owner must devote an adequate amount of time that is required to find such a service. Inexpensive services can provide a good windfall or it can be a time consuming strain on resources. Choosing a web hosting plan that conforms to the web site’s goals should fit within the budget and provide a superior service.
